I was born in Hollywood, Florida and lived there until I was three or four years old. Then I moved here to Missouri with my parents, sister, brother, and a few kitties. I went to school in Crane until fifth grade when my parents pulled me out to homeschool me. I bet you wouldn't even know I was homeschooled but since I told you, now you know. I graduated in 2012, and this is my second semester in college. Right now I'm just getting my general education out of the way... as if I didn't do enough of that in high school. I'm considering being an Ultrasound Technician, with the hopes of doing prenatal sonography. The other route I'm thinking about taking is law enforcement. No matter what I choose I want to love what I do. Having a nice, big paycheck would be great too, but happiness is my priority.
I have a boyfriend, Will, of about a year and a half. He is my best friend, and we do everything together. I got my first job about 2 and a half years ago, working at Subway. Will also started working there and it was a lot of fun. When our manager left, things weren't the same so we both quit Subway and now work at Wal-Mart.
I don’t have too many hobbies, considering I’m pretty busy with work and school but in my free time I love to draw. I guess you could say I’m good, but anyone can draw with a little practice. I can be pretty shy at first, and sometimes people mistake that for rude or snobbiness, but I promise, it’s neither of those. Everyone deserves a chance, so if you give me one, I’ll do the same for you!

thats cool that you work at walmart they are a pretty good company i think i worked for them for a while a couple of years ago until, i had issues with my feet. i am the same about being shy even leaving these comments is hard for me to do as well since i dont know what to really say. so with that i hope you have a great semester
Hey drawing is a great hobbie! It takes alot of talent. Do you like Wal-Mart better than Subway?
I like your philosophy about happiness coming before a big paycheck. I think that's definitely the way to go. And I work for walmart too! I'm a cart pusher :)
I'm going into the medical field too! Got to love job security!! Was it hard transitioning from public school to homeschool?
My heart leapt when I read the word Hollywood, then I saw Florida and I laughed to myself and thought nope wrong side of the United States. I would be interested in seeing your drawing abilities as I have none.
I graduated in 2012 too! I dont know why anyone would want to come here from Florida! Its so beautiful there. I bet you miss it. (:
I have friends who live in Tampa, Florida and they always text me about how better it is there than it is where. Especially this time of year. I really like your idea of happiness before a big pay check. More people need to think this way and maybe more people would be happy with their lives..not that money disappoints but you catch my drift.
Hey Alexandria!
Great introduction. i like the way you explain you're shy at first. I'm the opposite but understand that feeling. I'm from the south and feel like i talk too much and i'm obnoxious at times- so no worries- i'll meet you in the middle! haha!
I also appreciate that you want to be happy with your career. I am the same way. We all have to work to make money, but I HAVE to like what i do or i don't enjoy it.
Let's all get out there and enjoy life!
