Plagiarism

 I don't have my book with me today so I will be pulling my information from the web.  Passing someone elses work off as your own is cheating and is considered "academic dishonesty".  Andrew Douglas states that while it is clear that plagiarism is "ostensibly concerned with the issue of false attribution of another person's work as your own, but you also need to appreciate plagiarism is somewhat different from instances of copyright infringement because it is concerned with unearned increments to the original author's reputation for instances of plagiarism."  (Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/3182650)
