Hey guys, my name is Cory Hansen. I was born in Springfield Missouri on October 16th 1993. I have a little sister who is four years younger than me. I went to Portland Elementary school till I was in 5th grade. Then I went to middle school in Springfield for one semester. Then my parents moved to a place called Pleasant Hope, Missouri. That place blows. I finished middle school and high school there. I am happy to be going to OTC now!

My interests include music and movies and politics and stuff like that. I have a lot of songs on my iPod. I like nearly all genres of music, but I think my favorite genre is Indie Rock. I am in a one man band called Nice Orange Pants. I am in the process of recruiting more musicians to join the band. I am thinking about changing the name of it, but I haven't decided for sure yet.
I like bringing snacks to class. I work for Walmart part time as a cart pusher. It really sucks sometimes, but it keeps me in shape at least. I am going to OTC in order to attain my Associate of Arts transfer degree. Once I get that, I am planning on transferring to MSU or some other similar place to get a Bachelor’s degree in something.

well i think the name you have picked out is neat, i mean it different and it stands out. being original is cool. indie music is pretty cool too, i listen to it sometimes. if you bring snacks bring enough for everyone lolol jk.
that is what my teacher used to say i hope you have enough for everyone. well have a great semester
I'm glad to see a fellow musician in class! What instruments do you play? I'm actually here at otc finishing my gen eds before I transfer to msu to chase a deggree in jazz theory with a minor in composition
I understand how you feel about work, I like my job somedays but hate it others! I love music too, especially when I've had a bad day and it can just take you away!
Hey Cory! You look so familiar! I am also thinking about transferring to MSU as well. It's awesome that you are so into music. I also think it's cool we both work at wal-mart :) Hope you have fun in this class!
What kind of musicians are you looking for? I play guitar, piano and violin and while I don't know that I would ever be in a band (stage fright) It is always fun to get people together and just play!
I play guitar and ukulele. And I am a mediocre piano player as well. When I record my songs I like to add alternative percussion sounds like pots and pans and stuff. So I guess you could say I play that too... Idk.
Hey :) I think we had the same philosophy class last semester!
You poor guy! Having to push carts in the rain and cold. I wouldn't want your job but we all need carts at Wal-Mart so that is job security, lol. Have a great semester!
